DAYLIGHT BLOCK 
The Daylight Block reduces potato greening during storage by decreasing visible light transmission to the storage building that comes through exhaust and return air openings.

The Daylight Block is size and shaped to closely interfit within the frame, which is installed over the exhaust and return openings, preferably inside the storage building.

The Daylight Block houses special panels made of opaque, non-reflective and ultraviolet light resistant PVC containing free-flowing, air permeable, multicell passageways.

The passageways are constructed in such an offset manner that a linear path for light does not exist, eliminating the need for exhaust hoods to control light passage.
