Tsunami is formulated to achieve a reduction of microorganisms, in wash water in packing sheds and humidified air in potato storages. Tsunami has a low reactivity with, organics and soils assuring a consistent dosage is available for microbial control. It controls microbial activity on fruits and vegetables so product spoilage in minimized and shelf life is enhanced. Completely water soluble at active concentrations Tsunami promotes worker safety and is fully approved for use in, fresh cut, further processed, and post-harvest facilities.
CHLORINE DIOXIDE
Chlorine Dioxide is a broad-spectrum biocide that is effective in controlling late blight and other diseases on potatoes in storage. Chlorine Dioxide's disinfecting and oxidizing qualities allow it to suppress the growth of bacteria. With approved labeling procedures Chlorine Dioxide can be applied on potatoes either as they are piled into storage or with the ventilation system during the storage season.
BIO - SAVE
Bio-Save products are formulated biological control agents that control produce infection by out competing the pathogen at the wound sites on the produce surface. Test results have determined Bio-Save 110 and Bio-Save 1000 to be effective against fusarium dry rot and silver scurf on potatoes.
The intense oxidizing power offers much potential as an alternative approach for achieving surface disinfecting and control of microorganisms.
